I love the process of training and getting better every day. Pole vaulting challenges me physically and mentally, and that’s what drives me. I’m focused on long-term growth and doing the work it takes to reach my goals.
Grayson has been dedicated to pole vaulting from a very young age, and his work ethic continues to amaze me. He is passionate about the sport, committed to improving every day, and always pushes himself to be better. Watching him grow - not only as an athlete but as a teammate and person -has been incredibly rewarding.
I see Grayson almost every day and he is the kind of athlete every coach hopes for - he’s usually one of the first athletes to arrive, 30 minutes before practice, and one of the last to leave. That says everything. Grayson knows exactly what he wants and is willing to work consistently and patiently to get there.
